Although I have managed to fit the air box that came (separately) with my MK III Commando, I cannot see how to attach the bottom of it. As I hope you can see in the picture, there is a drilled tab that more or less corresponds to the holes in the front of the battery tray. The trouble is that the hole spacing does not match and the two are about 30mm apart. It looks as though there should be a spacer or bracket of some type to bridge the gap but I cannot find such a part in the parts list. Obviously I cold make something up but would like to know how the air box should be attached at the bottom.

The MK2A came with the Bla…
The MK2A came with the Black Box but there are subtle differences, mabe this is one and you do not have a MK3 box.

I had the same thought but the air box has the correct side panel bracket for the MK III, also the MK III's grommet and pipe for the oil separator at the back.
