Russell, if it's not leaking you could use it but avoid petrol laced with Ethanol! If you are not in SW England then BP Ultimate should be fine.

There was a thread about a steel replacement tank for your bike about a month ago. Expensive I think. Good luck.

The problem with Fastbacks is that there is a limited supply of metal tanks.

RGM sell a very nice aluminium tank made by Bartels or you can buy a steel tank from various Indian based vendors. These tanks are of variable quality with the bottom sections being made of various shaped pieces welded together. They will need sealing.

its a pity that Fastback owners don't have a decent steel replacement tank like the EMGO Roadster tank.

TCS sell a tank sealant that is suitable for fibreglass.

I have a Lyta tank fron RGM my friend has a Fastback tank, nice tanks except that the Monza filler cap is glued on to the tank. The epoxy glue or what ever it is is starting to come away on both.

Hi Russell I have a Interpol tank for sale in the Oct Roadholder, it's rust free, needs a re spray, as it's a strong yellow colour.

Correct me if I am wrong but aren't the Fastback, Roadster, and Interpol tanks all different and to interchange them will require changes to the seats and mountings?
