Add a covenant damping kit…
Add a covenant damping kit from RGM and you will have BMW type suspension that doesn't bottom out, bang and clonk. I have been known, when riding boring roads, to watch the front wheel gliding up and down over the surface. Now all I have to do is find equally nice rear shocks !!
You can even experiment with the amount of oil by measuring it from the top of the stanchion ( when compressed) to see what suits you best. Also from experience, don't put the spring in until after filling, it makes it so much easier and quicker to fill.

I use Fuchs fork oil 20 WT. You can mix day 20 and 30 equally to get 25 WT.
