I have just become the owner of a Norton 750 Commando (1974 reg) with the silencer / exhaust as in the photo. It isn't the usual upswept design. Does anyone know where it's from ? I need to replace it as it is had a few holes. Any recommendation on what with and a good place to source it from ?

That's the correct low level pre-black cap Interstate exhaust. Introduced to allow the fitment of panniers (which were planned as an accessory but don't ever seem to have become available).
