Clutch Centre

Forums

Hello,

Quick question from a new owner of an 850 Commando. Do i need to take the outer clutch basket, primary chain and crankshaft sprocket off in order to just replace the  clutch centre?

I have looked in the haynes manual and it simply discusses removing the whole primary drive train to strip the bike down.

Also any advice on good centres, mine looks relatively new but is beyond dressing up as it is so badly worn. If someone told me the centre had not been hardened i would believe them.

Many thanks in advance,

Jon

As it needs the bearing pressing in. Easy enough to do.
