I fitted an 18" Dominator rear wheel a good few years ago after having the rim offset changed for the Commando. The drum was not running true and I've finally found that the previous owner of the wheel had bored through the bearing spacer 5/8" up from 9/16". The two diameters on the ends of the spacer were wafer thin and didn't survive the removal process. I also discovered that of the three spigots on the brake drum. only one is a close fit in the hub, the other two do nothing to locate the drum concentrically. I guess the original owner had the wheel fitted to something other than a Norton frame/swinging arm.
