A recommended order for tightening down Norton twin cylinder head bolts

Owners of the original maintenance and Haynes manuals will notice a discrepancy between the two in the cylinder head tightening sequence.

Nortons from 1949 onwards into the Commando era had used the sequence shown on the left.
