Hi apologies if this has been covered in this forum already. I recently bought a Dominator and it has to be kept on charge which is ok but even so it's still tricky to start. Does anyone have any recommendations on replacement batteries for them?

Get the biggest battery you can get to fit in the battery box, along with bolt terminals for the wires.

From your comment I deduce that you have a coil ignition bike ,probably a distributor with points. Points need to be clean and set at 15 thou . A better spark can be made with a cheap points assist EI box which also gets rid of the iffy condenser in the 18d2 distributor . A well set up dommy will fire up with one fairly feeble kick ( thats me and mine !). Dud plug caps and dirty plugs are a common problem .

Dominator Battery
Thank you all for feedback and apologies being a newly I did not post this in the correct forum ... my bike is a 2017 Dominator.

What model/year Dommie have you got, as this will affect what battery you need.
Also, I assume that you have one without a magneto?
