Navigator front hub

I have finished polishing the front hub on my Navigator, the question is is it worth varnishing the polished finish or best to leave it alone?

Personally I’d put spokes and a rim on it! 😉 I’ve never lacquered my wheels preferring to give them a polish from time to time, what else will you be doing on a Sunday afternoon?!

Ahh got me bang to rights there George!  Anyway I can’t polish mine yet until the big spoke debacle is resolved!

It’s here: https://www.nortonownersclub.org/noc-chat/general/911051870

i discovered that my front hub had been drilled out for larger spokes, but only after having it vacuum blasted and polished!

I’m undecided what to do at the moment, build with bigger spokes or revert to a spare hub with the right holes but is a bit battered.

we’re waiting for some spoke samples from Central at the moment to see how it looks.
