I have a 1949 ES2 that was restored but the petrol tank was not chromed. I believe they stopped chroming them in 1953. It has very nice paint, striping, logo, and decal on it however. Does anyone know if it is possible to partially chrome a tank saving the paint on the sides and top or must you start all over and strip it down. I think the answer is going to be to start all over.Thank you for any replies.
