My newly acquired 72 Commando has had 5 previous owners and spent half its 48 years in the US. Upon inspection the wiring now does not in anyway reflect any of the wiring diagrams for that year of bike. It does not have indicators (thats fine with me) but has the Boyer electronic ignition and Podtronics regulator.
As the required loom is quite basic I want to spend the winter replacing and tidying up the existing botched wiring with something nearer the factory spec (but keeping the electronic ignition system).
The one piece of information I'm struggling to find is the stranded wire specification which I believe there are two sizes required. Can anyone list the correct or suitable sizes and if known any supplier that will sell short lengths of different colours that reflect the original looms as near as possible.
