Just got my 2010 Mark 1 961 Sport back from Stuart Bodycote . This is not an advert  but just appreciation for excellent service. He keeps you updated with videos of him working on your bike, you always know why things are upgraded and suggestions to any improvements .

Like an idiot forgot to refill gearbox on my Mk 1 961 Sport after an oil change when I got distracted during process returning to job sometime later , taking bike out for an 18 mile ride. Nothing noticeably wrong with gears selecting smoothly as normal but did wonder why selecting first from neutral just clicked in smoothly without the usual clutch drag grating noise - not twigging it was due to no g/box oil.

Any ideas where to get these parts?

I see that the 2023 961 Sport is now priced at £16,999 PLUS £750 for a bit of pinstriping , well that's my test ride cancelled for sure I will be sticking with my15 plate.  How on earth can you justify a £500 increase in price and all that for a bit of pinstriping . They are now taking the proverbial and It's a fact that they will loose a lot of sale because of their attitude , mine included.

2015 Norton Commando Sport 961

Three months after paying my deposit in January, phone them several times, and email,

I get this email. yesterday.

" production is planned for late this month, subject to paint passing quaility, with delivery to customers for May.  "

This is because I want the Manx Silver paint work.

After three months just to get this one line email , is very poor customer relations.

On January 10th this year, I put down my deposit on a New 961.  At the time i was told there was a problem getting the silver paintwork, but i went ahead with my order as it was the silver colour scheme I wanted.  Today i was told there is still a problem getting the silver paint and the factory still cannot give me a delivery date !!!

Is anyone else having this problem ??

Where do I start.   This is one of my bikes.   It was last serviced by SG Norton and was in the factory when it went into liquidation.   Stuart Bodycoate, the then factory service manager and now of Motorvated Limited was the last factory member to work on my bike.  He was also responsible for making sure that it was kept safe when the administrators came in.  Anyway, cut to now and my bike has just been given a complete overhaul by him.  His attention to detail is beyond question.   He kept me fully i
