'O' ring chain

The problem with fitting a O ring chain to a bike with a pressed steel chaincase is the possibility of the chain rubbing on the back of the inner chaincase and even wearing through it. There is minimal clearance there so check carefully before you go down that route.

I have only used standard Renold chains on my Nortons as the clearance between the gearbox case and the primary chaincase is not wide enough for even modern non o-ring chains.
