Short roadholder forks

Forums

Hi,  I’m looking for a set of short road holder forks for a Norton Jubilee build, just wondering what the going rate is for these as I have seen some rather high prices ( £800? ).

Hi Gary,

Good Luck in your search for the forks.

They should fit easily to your Jubilee - as the Navigator & Electra with a similar frame used them.

There are two proviso's:

1) You will need the Navigator/Electra cones fitting to the stem, as its thicker than the Jubilee item. NOC Spares are currently out of stock. Russell Motors may have them?

2) You will need an additional spacer under the fork crown, if fitting a Roadholder type headlight bracket holder, as the Featherbed headstock must be a fraction taller.

I’ve got roadholders on my Jubilee, they work well, remember to factor in new stanchions in 5he cost, I think the last pair of sliders I bought were about £100 so I would expect to pay about  £250 for a complete set at an auto jumble, but people try to charge more!  If someone wanted £800 I’d expect them to have new bushes, stanchions and painted shrouds!
