Hi,
Can anyone tell me how the rubber straps fit into the battery carrier on a MK1 Commando?
When I got mike bike, they were missing so I have no point of reference (I am undertaking a complete rebuild at the moment).
Does anyone have any pictures?
The only way I can imagine it works is if one sandwiches the thin end between the carrier and air filter plate, on end, and perhaps bends the thin end of the other end into a hook to put it through the hole, mudguard end. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks and BR,
Keith Owen

Hi, I Have the ones from…
Hi,
I Have the ones from ANIL, correct for the year. They do sort of catch in place, but it's not very convincing. I just don't want things flying around inside, although I shall probably go for a jell type battery to avoid spillage.
Maybe I worry too much!
