1969 Norton Commando "R" type (NOT ROADSTER). This is a very rare bike as approximately 400 made mainly for export according to NOC records. I restored this bike to showroom condition in 2010 and only ridden it 100 miles It was displayed on the Carol Nash Stand at the Stafford Classic Bike Show that year and is featured in the centre page of the December 2010 Classic Motorcycle. It has MK 3 isolastics, pazon ignition, butted S/S spokes, twin leading shoe front brake. Paint work is fire flake red.
