2 bikes in 1! Matching engine, frame and g’box numbers.
Fascinating history; supplied to Lancashire Constabulary as an Interpol. Bought by an RAF member and taken to Cyprus. Turned into Interstate but with wrong tank and clocks. Sold to an Army officer who brought it back to the U.K. when I bought it (2012) as a retirement project.
I re-registered it with it’s original U.K. number.
£1000s spent on original parts, too many to list. In 2019 I fancied a change and sourced a genuine steel roadster tank, pattern steel side panels (all professionally painted in proper Norton yellow) and top quality seat. With brand new British made exhaust and silencers, with Norton logo, the bike looks superb and runs beautifully.
Currently in roadster trim but comes with all parts to put back into Interstate trim.
Much mechanical work done on purchase; new bearings, seals, g’box rebuild, clutch, forks, swinging arm and much more.
Boyer ignition, new coils and recent battery means easy starting. Comes with a box of spares, some NOS.
