Beware Scammers Prowling Wanted Lists

You list the part you need for a specific item, for specific year and model. The scammer downloads a photo of a similar bike on web, then contacts you telling they are breaking this bike for parts. Send them a list of the parts you need, then of course the money and HEY PRESTO your money disappears and no parts. I spotted this SCAM this week immediately, but wanted to warn others that it was going on in our Classified Adds section. Remember this site is accessed by ALL and not only NOC members….BE VIGILANT..
Useful information
- Avoid scams by acting locally or paying with PayPal
- Never pay with Western Union, Moneygram or other anonymous payment services
- Don't buy or sell outside of your country. Don't accept cashier cheques from outside your country
