This twin cylinder 500cc Dominator has a pre 1960 dynamo engine fitted in a 1958 wide line featherbed frame. The engine has an alloy head, concentric carb and is fitted with an electronic ignition system and drives through a laydown gearbox. The bike was built to what looks like a high standard a couple of years ago but sadly the club member died soon after completing the work. Note this picture was taken without the chrome and black fork spring covers fitted, these are fitted to the bike now and are in good condition.
I started the bike a couple of weeks ago easily after draining the oil from the sump and it ran nicely in the shed. It appears as though the engine and gearbox have been rebuilt but unfortunately records aren't available to confirm this. The bike has been authenticated by the NOC and a V5 is available. Due to the bike being stood for the best part of 2 years light recommissioning will be required. The bike is located in the York area. Price £5,000.
