Friday 17th August Friday's ride out started early at 10:00a.m. and followed the roads some 35 miles east from the camp site to the beautiful old and historic town of 'Bruck an der Mur'. Our arrival was given a full civic welcome with a TV crew requesting interviews with Roland, Chairman Tim, and others. In case the local residents hadn't sufficiently noticed us, some of the Austrian Branch members laid on a few noisy circuits of the town square courtesy of a few of James Lansdowne's finest. A great lunch was all laid on and many used their sat-navs to wander off the return route and explore on the way back.
