This did mean Tim would be trusting his Model 18 with its longest ride so far, so it is the reason he gets a mention in dispatches, getting there on time and a trouble free return trip to boot. I would also like to thank Brian Church, who offered to bring his fabulous 1928 ES2 for the Club. Just a mention - several years ago, Ian Somerville bought my 1925 16H project, as I had reluctantly decided to let it go. Ian had just managed to finish it in time under difficult circumstances, and it is really a credit to Ian and Rose. I had been messing with it for 10 years or so - they finished in about three years otherwise it would have probably still been in my 'Shed and Buried'.
