Roadholder 370 - October 2018

32 we have given the bikes a bit of throttle a couple of times. At breakfast this morning, a gent from Birchesgarden (where I was last month on a Norton) was looking at our bikes - what a small world. And to cap it all, five bikers pulled into a lay-by where we had parked and asked if they could photograph our bikes. One chap was from Paignton where I have my funeral business and his brother-in-law is the local Pastor in Paignton. We said goodbye and showed them how well these old Nortons went and sounded. Although they were going in our direction, we never saw them again. We went to 'Cocoa Mountain' where they serve a chocolate fix that any chocaholic would be satisfied with for the whole day. It did transpire that a double booking had occurred, so the solution was that I had to share a double bed with a beautiful 23 year old Swedish leggy blond pole dancer (just joking). I had to share with Paul as his booking could not be found. Day 10 We were on a mission today to go across the top of Scotland. As you can see, the beaches and water looked inviting and views were stunning along with some super biking roads which the old Singles enjoyed thumping along. We first wanted to visit the Castle of Met before it was closed for Prince Charles' yearly visit to his grandmother's house. We rode in and I missed seeing the designated bike parking area and ended up parking by the entrance to the cafe/booking- in area, in full view of the gatekeeper to the
