The Branch would like you to join us for our 1st camping weekend, at: The New Broom public house, Uttoxeter Road, Checkley, Stoke-on-Trent, ST10 4NB. Cost is £10/unit for the whole weekend. Electric hookup will be £5/night (availability of this is tbc.). The pub serves food. Breakfast £tbc. Friday night - grill night special 'two for one', £12. Sunday carvery, £8.50. We will have the use of the function room with its own bar on Saturday night. The talk will encompass wiring, ignition systems, charging for both dynamos and alternators, and also the lighting systems. This site is flat and well kept and has an onsite portaloo; also all pub amenities will be available during opening times. This Summer Camp is open to all pre-1978 motorcycles, classed as 'Historic Vehicle' which must be ridden to the event. Trailers and vans will not be permitted and as it is a 'Tent Only' event, caravans, campervans and motor homes will not be allowed on the camp site.
