19 Hockenheim Motor Museum My son suggested we visit the annual Hockenheim 'Historic Jim Clark Revival' meeting. We both have an interest in old, as well as modern, motorsport and he thought it would make an interesting trip for me. I must confess to generally attending car, rather than motorcycle events. I'll enjoy bikes on telly and in print but I don't make time to go and see them live, my loss you may say, and I agree! As well as the racing and trade stands it turned out that Hockenheim also has a very good onsite Motor Sport Museum, accessed by paying a very reasonable €6 entry fee. I can thoroughly recommend visiting it if you are ever there. My pictures come from a visit during the Revival weekend, actually in April 2017. I was pleasantly surprised to find a grand showcase of racing Nortons in the museum. You can see there is a large circulating turntable with solely fabulous historic Nortons on board (pic). There are some others standing adjacent plus many other marques throughout the wonderful displays, including a very 'Triumph T160' looking Rotary (pic). I would be interested in any feedback on why this late combination was trialled. Apologies if it has been covered here before, it must be my age! I must confess, back in the day, I liked the T160 yellow and white colour combination as shown, and it would have been my choice. The actual bike I bought was a silver 850 Commando Mk.III Interstate, owned from new, but not currently used. A couple of websites that
