Early SS Nortons both 88 and 99

Why does no one read the history of Norton bikes and start to learn about there origins, too much about modern day bikes and not enough knowledge of past Models, I worked on bikes back in the early 1960's and know what bikes were around back then, this comment is by Pat's husband Graham Booth who is also a member on here and at present restoring my 1958 99 SS, yes that is quite right they existed back then much to the denial at present that is going on, my old friend who live in Rise Park in Nottingham also has one at his home with an Internation 500 cc Manx Norton.
