CansUp to Rotary
I got me a old Interpol with newly reconditioned engine ( Done about 1500 miles)
But I am getting bored with the big 18 pound original cans. Is it possible to fit something like 2 smaller straight bore without having to put it on a dyno to re tune the carbs? . My thinking is that with the SU carbs the increased flow in the cans should create a bigger vacuum in the inlet thos increasing the fuel/air mix. Well this is all depending on how lean it is running in the first place, but ajusting the SU's would in my mind be a bit of a gamble because you would have a tendensi to make it too rich just in case:/
Only other solution i can think of is to bring the bike to Asbo and get the full vacuum cooling exhaust system and the mk2 smoothbore carbs all fitted and dynoed. But that does'nt come for free.

Without wanting to steer you away from the NOC site you could try looking at the Rotary Owners Club website. There is plenty of discussion there on exhausts for IP2
