Luggage rack

Did Norton ever sell a luggage rack for the De-Luxe Jubilee, probably optional equipment.

There was a rack for sale on Ebay last week which looks like a optional extra and not home made.

The six month old Jubilee I bought in 1961 had a rack fitted that, l seem to remember, looked the same as the recent eBay offering. It also came with a colour-matched full Avon fairing, both items appearing to have been fitted from new.

I think they made one that hooked over the tail above the light and fixed under the seat, i have only seen one,must be very rare, the Craven type was also used but had to have holes drilled in the tail , I have one fitted to my 99 together with the full Avonaire and Dolomite Panniers. Heavy,very heavy man !!.
