jubilee points

Hi, I am looking for 2 sets of contact breaker and 2 condensers for my 1961 Jubilee. Any contacts (!) that I can try before the club spares scheme is up and running in August? I have looked on ebay and bantam ones listed look similar to mine do you know if they are the same?

Very much recommended that you go Boyer electronic. Yes you will need 12V but you can use the two 6V coils. You will significantly reduce vibration and down time to points fiddling.

Get in touch if you want costs and details etc.

Slightly off topic - Al, can I keep the 2 x 6 volt coils on my Navigator and convert to 12V?  Don't the points need one coil per set?

Cheers, Lionel

Or you could go Pazon (like I did) and stay with 6 volts.

Thanks for your replies folks. In the future I am going to fit electronic ignition but in the meantime I am sticking with points for just now. I have bought 2 sets from a Bantam 14/4 model. They look the same, but I have not got round to fitting them yet.
