Slimline chainguard brackets

Posted by peter_austin at March 11. 2010

I have a slimline 99 that I am restoring which has had the chain guard brackets removed from the swinging arm. Does anyone know of anyone who can fabricate some?

Peter,

I have a 99 Deluxe with full chain guard. If it would help I can photograph and measure my brackets for you to copy.

Regards,

Rick

Hi Rick,

Thank you for your offer, that would have been great but I have an early 650ss that I have been measuring up. I really wanted to know if anyone who makes replica featherbed frames might already have some fabricated so that I would only need to weld them back onto the swinging arm. I only have limted tools in my garage and fabricating them looks the hard part.

Regards,

Peter Austin
