Except of course that 77 cranks are usually dynamo and 99 cranks are usually alternator.

Hi David,

I own a '57 model 77 & am happy to help in any way I can. There are at least 4 model 77 owners in the NOC. All model 77 cranks do have dynamos, so some model 99 cranks will work, as long as they are the earlier ones without the alternator nut threads. Be carefull of the model 88 crankshafts, as they have a different stroke (ask me how I know this !). Let me know if you need exact dimensions, or pictures.

I have accumulated a ton of pictures, manuals, etc. for the elusive model 77.
