16H oil pressure valve

Hi Guys, More help needed please. Is the oil pressure control valve the one in the "post" at twelve o'clock, underneath the tell tale, in the timing cover with a biggish screw followed by a short piramid shaped spring then a ball bearing?If so should it be screwed home then unscrewed 1 1/2 turns? It was screwed righ home whan I took it off to clean! Cheers Tony.
