Racing Inter clutch and brake levers

Posted by andy_marks at February 04. 2012

I have seen that these are quite distinctive and longer than the standard ones. Ken McIntosh lists them as 1935-1954 so it would appear I should have them on mine (a 1935 model). Paul Norman lists them but has them down as out of stock. Is there anywhere else I can get a pair of these? I'm not sure I fancy paying £125+ per lever plus postage from New Zealand! I dont mind an old pair that need re-plating or some other work on them if anyone knows of a set that are available.

Thanks

Andy

Hi.

Give Stu Rogers a try - 01945 585116 - they'll still cost an arm and leg I'm afraid! Occasionally you see the odd one in 'bucket' jobs on Ebay but by the time you've out bid someone who's also spotted them, then had them re-chromed, you're probably better off buying new.

Regards.

Ian.

I have got some bits on order from him at the moment and it's proving very slow, expensive and hard work getting the bits out of him at all.

Hi.

Yeah, unfortunately he has to rely on others, i.e. he doesn't make it all himself, but he's never let me down yet! Stuff tends to arrive from Stu when you're least expecting it.  Everything I've had off him over the last 4 years has been top notch and true to the original - especially his stainless stuff. Ken McIntosh is good too and it can be cheaper than you'd expect - even all the way from NZ. Paul Norman's gear is also very good.

Regards.

Ian.
