ES2 oil pump

Posted by charles_dixon-payne at January 15. 2012

I wont swear on line,  but on taking the engine to pieces  - I checked how smoothly the oil pump turned and it was very stiff and notchy so I thought that I would take the pump to pieces but, and guess what, I broke the upper casting, now two things

Firstly - Are replacements available and from whom?

Secondly - How do you trake the drive shaft out of the casting?

Thanks for any help

Charles

Charles,

I think I have an incomplete and partially dismantled oil pump somewhere.  Can you e-mail me a picture of the bits you need?

Charles

If you get completely stuck, Stu Rogers 01945 585116 can supply new ones.
