1949 ES2 plunger shrouds

Posted by glenn_collins at September 23. 2011

So....I managed to take the plungers apart, tracked down a supplier of shrouds via internet and waited almost a month from ordering, paying and for nothing to turn up and me cancelling order from Classicbritishmotorcycles ( would not recommend) I now find myself still in need of replacements or the mending of one set that I have - Can anybody help or pass on the name of a good repairer? Many thanks Glenn

Hi.

RGM Motors do them - £61 + VAT. They also do the springs.

Regards.

Ian.

An earlier reply on the same topic on this forum said that Stainless for Classics could supply these and other Norton parts in stainless steel.  I contacted them via their website and they have confirmed today that they only produce parts for cars.
