Found the old part in my box of bits clean it ready for paint, but not on my frame its complete. Anybody know what bike?

Could be the bit that mounts the top rear engine plates (dredged from the depths of my dismal memory).

It is a frame strut bolted between the gusset plates at the rear of the frame.   \the swinging arm also mounts on these gussets,

Also the strut should be straight , not bent !!!!
