How to Log-in as a member into the new NOC Website

There's loads of useful stuff on the new site available for everyone, but to get the most benefits, you need to 'log-in' as a member. Once you do, you'll find there's lots more to see and do!

Logging in is simple - on the left hand side of the main Website front (index) page you'll find a Login Panel like the one in the picture below:-

Login Help 1

To log in to the site first simply type your firstname and surname in lower case letters with an 'underscore' between the names, as your 'Login Name'. For instance, if your name is 'John Smith', your Login name will be 'john_smith'. If you forget the 'underscore' between your names (it's normally the shifted key to the right of the 0 (Nought/Zero) on your keyboard) don't worry as it will be added automatically.

Then secondly type your Membership Number (The one on the back of your membership card) as your initial Password. (You'll be able to change it later for something more memorable!)

So if on the back of your NOC membership card, it said:

Card Reverse

You will need to type: '07K01/0057/SY' as your initial password.  Note that all 0s are digit zeros unless they come at the end of the Membership No. in which case they are a capital letter O (for Overseas), e.g. 07L09/0045/O.  The new Membership Nos. which are being phased in from January 2010 are simply a 6-digit number.

Then just click on the 'Log in' panel underneath and you should be immeditately logged in as a member!

Didn't work? - Check to make sure your name and membership number password was typed in correctly! - Still no luck? then contact us at webmaster@nortonownersclub.org - we'll check out your problem and get back to you with a solution asap! It can sometimes happen with common names that we have to assign numbered logins, e.g. 'dave_brown1', 'dave_brown2' and so on.
