Motorcycle design engineer; started work at BSA in 1965, moved to Norton in 1969; raced a 750 Commando & then managed Commando endurance race team. Mostly worked for Norton, except six years at Yamaha and six years at Mid-West Engines (aero rotaries). Retired from Norton Motors, Rugeley, in February 2009. Hobbies include my Commander, my sail boat, and my rabbits.
